Lydia’s Friends is Dummerston’s own friends-of-the-library group.
We are committed to promoting the success of the Lydia Taft Pratt Library. Lydia’s Friends engages in fundraising activities and advocates for the necessity of our town library.
To keep our library vibrant, Lydia’s Friends hosts an annual Geranium Festival & Book Sale, raises funds for our Museum Passes program, and lends our voice at Town Meeting.
We are always looking for new members. No contribution is too small.

Geranium Festival, Book Sale & Silent Auction
Lydia's Friends, Dummerston's friends-of-the-library group,
is hosting our annual
Geranium Festival, Silent Auction, and Book Sale on Saturday, May 17, 2025,
10am to 1pm at the library.
This year’s silent auction will happen ONLINE at this link. Bidding will begin on May 2 at 5pm and will continue through May 17 at 1pm. Items for auction will be on display at the library on May 17 and folks may bid in person on that day at the library.
