Computer Workstation and Wifi Usage Policy
- Library users are welcome to use our public access computer to search the library’s holdings and other resources, check email, search the internet, create documents, etc.
- The library is proud to uphold the tenets of free speech and intellectual freedom and we strive to stimulate intellectual curiosity of all varieties. Therefore, we do not employ any library screening software and have no privacy devices in place. Nevertheless, library users are expected to conform to normal standards of behavior in a public setting such as a library, and to keep in mind that there are often children present in the library. Library users who behave inappropriately in the library will be asked to leave.
- Library users are expected to refrain from illegal or unethical use of the internet, to respect intellectual property and the privacy of others, and to not alter, remove or damage the equipment. Users may not download software or games onto library computers.
- Library users are welcome to use the library public wifi from within the building at 150 West Street when that building is open, and from outside in the parking lot anytime. The outside wifi is available 24/7.
